Dolby Vision HDR

The only HDR format applied with the human eye, Dolby Vision HDR uses dynamic metadata to provide frame-by-frame analysis of the content to ensure the best picture quality is shown on screen throughout. The LG OLED65E9 OLED supports Dolby Vision HDR Apple and Netflix have committed to provide much of their 4K content in Dolby Vision HDR so any new TV really does need to support this format!

Alpha 9 Gen 2

The Alpha 9 Gen 2 is faster and better than last year with more picture processing features to optimize any picture source. LG has included a technology called "Deep Learning" which allows the Alpha 9 Gen 2 processor to intuitively recognize picture quality. This level of picture understanding allows the processor to compare the source to what it knows the image should look like and which processes it needs to run to make the picture better. This is different from last year which treated every image exactly the same. Even better, the Alpha 9 Gen 2 can also do this with sound, making for a much more immersive listening experience as well!

Perfect Viewing Angle

The LG OLED65E9 television lets enjoy the widest viewing angles with no loss of contrast or distortion of colour, OLED TV will give you Perfect Viewing from wherever you are viewing the TV (up to 178 degrees) to give you the best experience at all times. If you click on the video link you will see LG’s immersive OLED waterfall at 2019 CES show in Las Vegas, the display is curved and no matter where you view the display from you get the perfect viewing experience.

WebOS Gallery

The OLED65E9 has a gallery app in WebOS means your TV is still the centre piece of your room – even when you aren’t watching TV!

Chose from your own photos, or use the built in Art Gallery or Art Photos to turn your TV screen into a real work of art. There are even downloadable themes provided in association with TripAdvisor.

THINQ AI

LG OLED65E9 with ThinQ AI TV expands your AI experience with both the Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, as well as the built in LG ThinQ software. Get answers to questions and control smart home appliances all through the power of your voice.

2019 models with the Alpha 9 Gen 2 and Alpha 7 Gen 2 processors also control picture & sound quality using the built in AI technology.

LG’s ThinQ AI enabled range of TV’s Can work with AND have built in, both Google Assistant and Alexa as well as using LG’s own proprietary ThinQ technology to control the TV.

AirPlay2

LG`s 2019 OLED and NanoCell range of TV`s support AirPlay2, AirPlay2 allows you to seamless connect your Apple products to your TV to play videos, music, photos and more content directly to your TV. You can even mirror your screen and see the same thing that is on your iOS device on your compatible TV.

Apple’s iTunes store also has the largest collection of 4K movies in both Dolby Vision & Dolby Atmos which will work seamlessly with AirPlay2 integration!

The LG OLED65E9 can playback Dolby Atmos content without the need for an additional soundbar or amplifier. Other manufacturers have seen the success of building Atmos support in and have followed suit in 2019, however, LG still has the largest range of models with Dolby Atmos built-in!

Bang & Olufsen products purchased from an authorised Bang & Olufsen retailer are covered by a warranty. The company giving the warranty (the warrantor) is the national Bang & Olufsen company within the country in which the product was purchased. The warranty is provided in addition to the rights and remedies granted to you by your seller or granted to you under applicable legislation. Therefore, any remedy (e.g. rectification, claim for damages, right to terminate the contract) granted by the seller of the Bang & Olufsen product or by the law applicable remain unaffected. The warranty covers all defects (compared to the specification of the product in question) that may arise in the product within the below mentioned warranty period, however, with the exceptions set out below. Unless otherwise explicitly stated in documents provided in connection with the purchase, the warranty period is 36 months. The warranty period starts when the product(s) is delivered to the first end-user, and ceases to be valid 36 months after this delivery date. This warranty does not extend to any product whose serial number has been defaced or altered, just as the warranty will cease if you make modifications in the software not authorised by Bang & Olufsen. The following are not covered by the warranty: – Defects that have been caused by wrongful use, incorrect installation, incorrect repairs/modifications, or maladjustment of the product, or neglect, including but not limited to “burn in” of plasma, overdriving of speakers and similar wrongful use. 5 – Defects that have been caused by lightning, fire, water, or other events of force majeure. – Defects in consumables, (i.e. components that are expected to require regular replacement including without limitation: batteries, Blu-ray lasers, etc.) or use beyond the expected lifetime of the consumable in question. – Minor defects in LCD and plasma displays; minor in this sense shall refer to no more than four (4) defective pixels per million pixels on a given LCD/plasma display. Furthermore, if the display is divided into nine (9) equal rectangular areas, there shall be no more than one (1) defective pixel in the central area of the display. With the herein stated exceptions to claim under the warranty you may contact any authorised Bang & Olufsen retailer throughout the world, if a defect covered by the warranty arises in your Bang & Olufsen product within the warranty period. The Bang & Olufsen retailer in question will rectify the defect either by, at his choice, within the conditions laid down by consumers’ protection law, repairing the defective product, replacing it (hereunder replacing it with a refurbished product of similar quality), or paying you back the purchase sum. The warranty does not cover the costs of consequential damage or indirect loss or any related expense of claiming under the warranty, such as loss from inability to operate the product. The warranty does not cover costs connected with rent of substitution products. Additionally, if it is only possible to repair the product by modifying or demolishing the building in which the product is placed, the warranty does not cover any costs or expenses in connection with such modification(s) or demolition which are deemed or foreseeable to be out of proportion. Bang & Olufsen products which are developed especially for use in the country in which they are sold, e.g. due to varying transmission systems and approval demands, are not covered by this warranty, if defects or malfunctions are caused by the usage of the product in another country. 6 To obtain information about the possibility to use your product in another country, contact a Bang & Olufsen retailer. In order for the warranty to apply, and to claim under the warranty, you must present the original invoice received at the time of purchase of the product in question, to the authorised Bang & Olufsen retailer where you wish to make your warranty claim.
